VEDRENNE Aged Plum Eau-de-Vie 42% - 70cl
This Vieille Prune eau-de-vie is made with whole fresh plums harvested in France. Upon arrival, the plums are transferred, pits and all, to a closed vat for natural fermentation with the fruit's sugar. This stage can last several weeks.
The plums are then distilled in a Charentais pot still to obtain the eau-de-vie. Finally, it is transferred to oak barrels to produce a “Vieille Prune” after several years.
