History

The Ivernel family, which settled in Aÿ in Champagne in the 15th century, has always been involved in the champagne industry and owned King Francis I’s wine cellar, where he had installed the royal wine press to guarantee that his wine came from Aÿ.

In 1890, Gustave Ivernel began producing his own champagne, which he marketed under his own name, and in 1955, Bernard Ivernel founded the Ivernel Champagne House, adopting the royal salamander as its emblem in homage to Francis I.

Today, IVERNEL carries on a long tradition by blending heritage with modernity. Its non-vintage brut champagne reflects a unique expertise passed down from generation to generation, embodying excellence and a precious legacy.

The Ivernel Cuvee

This blend combines the freshness and integrity of Chardonnay with the finesse of Pinot Noir grapes vinified as white wine, carefully selected from various Champagne crus. This harmonious blend reveals a wine with crisp fruitiness, marked by elegance and delicacy.

Bottling takes place in late spring following the harvest. This is followed by at least three years of aging in the cellars, allowing the wine to develop its full richness and aromatic complexity.

A precisely defined Brut dosage perfects this subtle balance between freshness and fruitiness, while preserving the wine’s authentic expression and purity.
