Supercassis is the iconic product in the VEDRENNE range.
For its production, VEDRENNE mainly uses the famous Noir de Bourgogne blackcurrant variety, the most aromatic in the world, harvested in France. The carefully selected berries are quickly transported to Nuits-St-Georges. The production process respects the fruit and takes its delicate nature into account: the blackcurrant berries are macerated in alcohol in rotating stainless-steel tanks, protected from air and light. After pressing, the drained infusions are sweetened exclusively with dry French sugar. To purchase blackcurrant berries, VEDRENNE partners with 3 cooperatives, one of which has been a longstanding partner for more than 40 years. To preserve this precious berry, VEDRENNE funds research programs.
